CSG Group,a South African company specialising on facility management,security services and recruitment announced that has acquired Facility Services Group(FSG).
CSG Group did not want to disclose on how much was spent to acquire a reputable organisation such a FSG.
CSG Group comprises these companies CSG Integrated Services,Phakamani Solutions,CSG Resourcing Mpumalanga & Umdeni and CSG Engineering,and 51% of its shareholding is blacked-owned.
Kobus Nieuwoudt,CSG Group CEO said:"We are pleased to announce that CSG has acquired the Facility Services Group(FSG),a prominent landscaping and commercial garden maintenance business."
He mentioned that founded by Brandon and Natalie Mansour 25 years ago,FSG has grown into a substantial business,also offering services in cleaning,hygiene,security,and indoor plants.They serve a considerable number of blue-chip clients nationally.
He clarified that the business will operate as a separate division under Pieter van der Westhuizen,the CEO of the Security and Cleaning divisions.
He emphasised that the acquisition of FSG is aimed on strengthening the footprint of the CSG Group across Southern Africa.
"With this acquisition,we not only expand our facility management service offerings,but we also establish CSG as one of the major FM players in Southern Africa,"he added.
He seems delighted that the FSG team and clients will be joining the CSG family.

FSG began its journey in 1999 as a small business that was offering just gardening services and over the years thrived to be a fully integrated facilities management company with over 1000 permanent staff.
FSG is serving big clients such as Carlswald Estate,Investicore Asset Management,Emperors Palace-Maxmanc Inc,Tyger Valley Shopping Centre,Brooklands Residential Estate and many others.
FSG has many accreditations from organisations such as National Contract Cleaners Association(NCCA),Association of Residential Communities(ARC),Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority(PSIRA),Construction Industry Development Board(CIDB) and many more.
