Four African national teams retained the continent's pride after qualifying for the last 16 of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2025 tournament which is taking place in Qatar.
The entire African continent rallies behind the national teams of Morocco, Uganda, Burkina Faso ,and Mali which secured their spots in the last 16.
One of the African teams that stole the limelight to reach the Round of 16 of the tournament is Burkina Faso which eliminated defending champions Germany with the solitary goal netted by Mohamed Zongo.
Morocco reached the next round of the World Cup after defeating United States of America(USA) 3-4 during penalty shootout after a tough match which ended with 1-1 draw.
Mali advanced to the next round of the competition after failing to show any mercy on its African opponent Zambia which crushed with 1-3 score
Uganda proceeded to the next round of the tournament in their World Cup debut after a hard-fought victory against Senegal, and that match ended 0-1 with the goal scored by Abubakali Walusimbi.
