President of the United States of America(USA),Joe Biden has expressed his excitement following the collapse of the Assad's family regime in Syria over the weekend.

Assad's regime collapsed after more than 50-years when Syrian rebels forced Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to flee the country to seek refuge in a foreign country on Saturday.

Bashar has ruled Syria with an iron-fist for 24-years after he inherited that country from his own father Hafez who ruled it from 1970s till his death in 2000.

Under the leadership of Bashar,Syria has experienced political instability, economic growth decline, spike on terrorism and the rise of rebel groups which led to the civil war which began in 2011 and that war has killed thousands of civilians and displaced millions of people who are scattered all over the world.

President Biden has described the fall of Bashar as the best thing which has ever happened for the people of Syria and for the entire Middle East region.

"This is the best opportunity in generations for Syrians to forge their own future - free of opposition. It's also an opportunity for a more secure and prosperous Middle East - where our friends are safe and our enemies are contained,"President Biden said.

He portrayed the collapse of Assad regime as an act of justice and he admitted that the fall of that regime will be not an easy ride for the Syrians.

"At long last, the Assad regime has fallen. The fall of this regime is a fundamental act of justice. It is a moment of historic opportunity for the long-suffering people of Syria to build a better future for their country. It is also a moment of risk and uncertainty,"he added.

Biden said new opportunities are now opening up for the people of Syria and for the entire region.

He promised that United States will try to meets with all Syrian groups during the transition period and maintained that his country will continue to fight terrorist groups which exist in Syria.

"Looking ahead, the United States will do the following.First,we will engage with Syrian groups - including within the process led by the United Nations - to establish the transition away from the Assad regime toward an independent, sovereign Syria.

"Second,we will help ensure stability in eastern Syria, protecting our personnel against any threats. We will maintain our mission against ISIS.

Third,we'll support Syria's neighbors - including Jordan,Lebanon,Iraq, and Israel - should any threat arise from Syria during this period of transition,"said President Biden.

Since 2011,President Bashar al-Assad has relied to foreign forces to keep him in power and over the years he lost the control of the big chunk of land to rebels groups which are financially sponsored by Turkey,Israel and the West.
