The Brazilian international and Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has won and lifted two Globe Soccer awards during a football ceremony which was taking place in Dubai last night.
Vinicius Jr was honoured with the Best Forward and Best Men's Player awards on Friday night at the Beyond Developments Globe Soccer Dubai Awards.
These two awards came in a right time to heal the 24-year-old Brazilian which was robbed his 2024 Ballon D'Or Award in favour of Rodri few weeks ago,and this season also won The Best FIFA Men's Player.
The Brazilian had very interesting year as he won 2024 UEFA Champions League with his team Real Madrid and during that match he scored when his club crushed Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final.
After winning the UEFA Champions League,two days later was named as the UEFA Champions League Player of the Season and that was expected because during the campaign had scored six goals and recorded five assists which helped his club to lift the trophy.
In the month of December,he won the FIFA Player of the Tournament and Golden Ball awards after Real Madrid crowned FIFA Intercontinental Cup champions when beat Club Pachuca Tuzos 3-0 on final,and in that night he scored and also gave an assist for the goal scored by Kylian Mbappe.
Vinicius Jr has been instrumental for the Los Blancos this season when won the La Liga,Supercopa de Espana,UEFA Champions League,UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup under the leadership of Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti.
Vinicius Jr joined Real Madrid B in 2018 where he made five appearances and scored four goals,he joined the first team in that year and over the year has scored 57 goals in 190 appearances.
The Real Madrid signed him in a €38 million deal and that became a national record in Brazil for an U-18 player.
He was born on 12 July 2000 in Sao Goncalo,Brazil and he spent his youthful career at Flamengo as he joined that club from 2006-2017,and was promoted to the senior team in the 2017/18 season where scored 11 goals in 50 appearances while he was 16.
