The World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andres demands an independent investigation against Israeli Defence Force(IDF) which intentionally bombed seven humanitarian aid workers in Gaza on Monday,01 April 2024.
The WCK founder is not satisfied with fact that Israel has to investigates its own crimes which is committing in Gaza even though IDF confessed that they intentionally bombed three vehicles that were carrying aid workers.
"We demand the creation of an independent commission to investigate the killings of our WCK colleagues.The IDF cannot credibly investigate its own failure in Gaza.
"It's not enough to simply try to avoid further humanitarian deaths,which have now approached close to 200.All civilians need to be protected,and all innocent people in Gaza need to be fed and safe.And all hostages must be released,"said WCK founder Jose Andres.
He even confirmed that IDF has admitted that the WCK staff has followed a proper channels to inform them about they movement around Gaza.
He is seems furious that the IDF is not willing to them or the public domain a video to prove what may led it to bomb their convoy because was not carrying no weapons and also posed no threat.
He is highly convinced that the IDF murdered their staff to disturb the food distribution which the WCK staff has been offering to the Palestinians since October 2023.
Even the WCK CEO is not pleased with the apologies of the Israeli Defence Force for killing their colleagues,and the WCK has chosen to suspend their operations in Gaza due to safety concerns.
"Their apologies for the outrageous killing of our colleagues represent cold comfort.It's cold comfort for the victims' families and WCK's global family.Israel needs to take concrete steps to assure the safety of humanitarian aid workers.Our operations remain suspended,"said Erin Gore,World Central Kitchen.
The majority of those aid workers that were ruthlessly bombed were not Palestinians,however,that convoy aid workers comprised people from U.K,Canada,U.S,Australia,Poland and Palestine.
There were three U.K citizens,one Australian,one Polish,one person with a dual-citizenship from Canada & U.S and one Palestinian.
The time IDF hit the convoy while was leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse,where they were unloading more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid which was brought in Gaza through the maritime route.
The WCK convoy was traveling in a deconflicted zone using two armoured vehicles branded with the organisation logo and one soft skin vehicle.
