Angola humbled Ghana with last minute victory

Angolan national team has shocked masses when defeats Ghana with goal scored in the 93rd minute in a full-packed Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi,Ghana on Thursday night.

Milson's goal ended the match 0-1 and was enough for the Palancas Negras of Angola to bag three points in the first leg of Group F qualifiers for 2025 African Cup of Nations.

Angola's last night victory away from home against the Black Stars ensured that are topping Group F and boosted the players morale.

Ghana's angry fans invaded the stadium to express their dissatisfaction about the poor performance shown by Black Stars players and vandalised property in the stadium.

The Black Stars has suffered its first loss in 24 years when they play at Kumasi and Angolans will always be remembered in Ghana for the humiliation they caused.

The last time Black Stars lost the game when they play in Kumasi was in 16 February 2000 when they were playing against South Africa.

The head coach of Black Stars Otto Addo was less disappointed with the performance of his team against Angola and after that match Ghana has found itself sitting in position three in Group F behind Sudan and Angola.

Next week Monday,9 September,the Black Stars will face Niger and are hoping to bounce back.

On Saturday,three matches will play for AFCON 2025 qualifiers are as follows:Cameroon vs Namibia,Mauritania vs Botswana and Nigeria vs Benin.
