Independepent Electoral Commission(IEC) in KwaZulu-Natal has secretly collaborated with certain political parties to gave away Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) seat to National Freedom Party(NFP) in the provincial legislature.

The new evidence which is publicly available in the website of IEC has made people raised eyebrows because new results appears on their website is different from that they announced on the 4th June 2024.

IEC in KwaZulu-Natal announced that only 3,508,055 valid votes were counted and those results were used to determine the allocation of seats for political party in the provincial legislature.

However,BNK News has decided to revisit the IEC website to do thorough analysis of results in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and through those analysis discovered that there is huge mismatch and conflicting results on their records.

BNK News team found out that IEC results has changed and different political parties results are no longer the same as of June 4.

Those changes has motivated the BNK News to recalculate the new results which has been kept as secret by the IEC in KZN and the total number of valid votes has increased to 3,517,028 from 3,508,055 votes that was made public by IEC.

IEC's new updates has regrouped the standing of political parties on their website because now African National Congress(ANC) has moved to position 2 from position 3 and Inkatha Freedom Party(IFP) has been relegated to position 3 from position 2.

uMkhonto weSizwe(MK) Party votes has been updated from 1,590,813 to 1,615,345 votes,ANC votes has been updated from 595,958 to 619,531 votes,IFP votes has decreased to 572,491 from 633,771 votes,Democratic Alliance votes increased to 481,107 from 468,515 votes,EFF votes increased to 89,908 from 79,211 votes and lastly National Freedom Party(NFP) votes decreased to 16,991 from 19,548 votes.

Using newly-updated results which appears on IEC website shows that EFF deserves three seats not two and NFP does not meet the criteria to be given a seat in the provincial legislature.

Even IFP is supposed to be given 14 seats and ANC deserves 15 seats because updated results disputes previous results, and DA and MK Party seats were not affected by these new updates.
