MK Party appoints Floyd Shivambu as National Organiser

uMkhonto we Sizwe(MK) Party has proclaimed former Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) deputy president Floyd Shivambu as its new National Organiser and through that appointment is now part of MK Party's top 8.
Shivambu's appointment comes just after few days of dumping the political party which he co-founded with Julius Malema in 2013 after being expelled by ANC.
Up until now,nobody knows what may led to his decision to resigned from his previous political party and it seems like he is not willing to spill the beans.
Shivambu was unveiled to the South Africans by President of MK Party,Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma in a press conference at The Capital Empire at Sandton.
During that press conference,Zuma introduced another members for his party national leadership structure as follows:John Hlophe as Deputy President,Sifiso Maseko as Secretary-General,Nombuso Mkhize as Deputy Secretary-General,Nathi Hleko as National Chairperson,Wilson Sebiloane as Deputy National Chairperson and Menzi Ngubane as Treasury-General.
Before joining MK Party,Shivambu was occupying multi positions under EFF as he was also lieutenant commander-in-chief and Chief Whip in the National Assembly.
He served in the Trade and Industry Portfolio Committee and the Standing Committee on Finance,he was also a member of the Pan African Parliament where he served in the Rural Economy,Agriculture,Natural Resources and Environment Committee.
Before the formation of EFF in 2013,Shivambu was a member of African National Congress and he joined ANC at an early age and he was part of its Youth League as he served as Spokesperson of ANCYL from 2008 to 2012.
He studied at University of Witwatersrand where he earned his bachelor degree as well as honours degree in Political Studies and International Relations,and in 2014 he graduated with Masters Degree in Political Studies.
He was born in January 1983 in the rural village of Mahonisi which falls under Malamulele town in the Limpopo province and he is married.
