Orlando Pirates has secured three points against CR Belouizdad in their CAF Champions League match for Group C at Stade 5 de Juillet on Tuesday night in Algiers.

The Buccaneers won their opening match for Group C with 1-2 and that was a good start for the Soweto giant.

The visitors scored two crucial goals in the first-half and those goals were enough for them to collect all points against The Reds.

The Buccaneers' first goal was scored on the fifth minute by Mohau Nkota and the second was scored on a long-range on the twenty-seventh minute by Nkota again.

Nkota scored his first brace in his debut match for Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League competition.

Bucs are occupying second position in Group C with three points behind Egyptian side Al Ahly which also has three points.

CR Belouizdad's lonely goal was scored by South African player who ply his trade on the Algerian league who came in as a substitute.

Khanyisa Mayo scored his goal through a header on the sixty-sixth minute after receiving a ball from a corner-kick.

During the last twenty minutes of the game,the Algerians used all their alternative avenues to find an equaliser but all they attacks were fruitless because the visitors defence was unbreakable.

Buccaneers are going to face Al Ahly and Stade d'Abidjan in the next coming days and those matches will be uneasy for them.

Orlando Pirates is grouped in Group C with two clubs from North Africa and one from West Africa which is Stade d'Abidjan from Ivory Coast.

Stade d'Abidjan lost its first match for Group C after being crushed 4-2 by Al Ahly on Tuesday afternoon.

Mamelodi Sundowns dropped two points against AS Maniema

Mamelodi Sundowns has failed to collect all three points last night when was facing AS Maniema Union at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Sundowns shared points with CAF Champions League newcomers AS Maniema Union from Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) after 0-0 draw.

The Congolese club journey to CAF Champions League group stages was not plain as they were expected to pass through Petro de Luanda of Angola.

In the next matches,Mamelodi Sundowns must up their game as they are going to face Raja Casablanca and AS FAR from Morocco.
