Sinky Mnisi rejoins Royal AM as Chief Operating Officer

The KwaZulu-Natal-based football club Royal AM has rehired its former CEO Sinky Mnisi as their new Chief Operating Officer(COO) after he resigned last year in January.

After he resigned from Thwihli Thwahla,he joined Marumo Gallants as their new CEO on August 2023 but he resigned three months later.

According to club statement,Royal AM Football Club is pleased to announce the return of Sinky Mnisi,who has rejoined the club from his family responsibility leave.Effective immediately,Mnisi will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer(COO) for the next three years,where he will be instrumental in driving the club's vision and operational excellence.

Royal AM said during his absence,Sinky has remained committed to the values and goals of Royal AM FC,and his return is met with enthusiasm by team members and supporters alike.With extensive experience and a deep understanding of the club's culture and ambitions,Mnisi is uniquely positioned to lead Royal into an exciting new chapter.

The club maintains that Mnisi would be responsible for several key areas such as Operational Strategy,Talent Development and Sustainability.

"To our valued supporters and media partners,we are currently focusing our efforts on seamlessly integrating Sinky Mnisi back into the club in his new capacity.We will not be conducting interviews at this time.We will make further announcements regarding our future direction and insights at a later date via press conference.We appreciate your understanding and continued support as Royal AM FC embarks on this new chapter with Sinky Mnisi leading our operations,"concludes Royal AM statement.

Mnisi left the club in June last year after he was blamed for mishandling the case Samir Nurkovic which led to the suspension of the club by FIFA.

Mnisi joined Royal AM back in 2021 as CEO after the club purchased the status of Real Kings in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
