Siya and Rachel Kolisi decided to end their marriage

South Africa's sensational power-couple Siya and Rachel Kolisi announced that they are ending their marriage after eight years together.

These two lovebirds shared the bitter news with the public through their social media platforms on Tuesday and did not provide reasons that contributed to their divorce.

"We wanted to share some important news with you.After much reflection and open conversations,we have mutually decided to end our marriage.This decision comes from a place of love,respect,and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us,"said Siya and Rachel.

They clarified that they will still continue to work together on their Foundation and will be always present in one's each life because they have kids together.

"While our relationship as a couple is changing,we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they've always known.We will also continue working together on the Foundation that means so much to us,"they added.

They thanked love and support they have shown by people over the years and also requested to be given a private space to adapt to their new lives as divorcees.

"We are grateful for the love,understanding,and support you've shown to us,and we kindly ask for your respect as we navigate this transition,"they concluded.

They have two children together a son Nicholas which was born in 2015 and a daughter Keziah was born in 2017,except they children the couple have been living with Liyema and Liphelo who are Siya's half-siblings which were orphans after their mother died in 2009.

Siya Kolisi hails from Port Elizabeth and was born in 1991,is a professional South African rugby player and is currently the captain of national team Springboks and is playing for Sharks.

He formerly played for Stormers and a French-side Racing 92,and he usually plays as a flanker and a loose forward.

In 2018,he became the first black player to be appointed as the captain of Springboks,and under his leadership the South African rugby team won 2019 Rugby World Cup Final beating England and last year won 2023 Rugby World Cup Final against New Zealand.

Rachel was born in 1990 and hails from Grahamstown,she was working in event management before deciding to be a full-time housewife and she loves fashion.
