Orlando Pirates has secured the signature of the New Zealand international Andre de Jong who was playing for Stellenbosch FC before the January transfer window open.
Pirates has been trying for almost a year to secure the signature of Andre de Jong, they tried to sign him in September last year and revived their interest in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old New Zealand international midfielder is expected to reinforce Pirates' attack, which already features notable players such as Tshegofatso Mabasa and Evidence Makgopa.
He is expected to make his debut for the debut when face Sekhukhune United in the upcoming schedule on 24 January, at the moment the details of his contract are undisclosed.
Andre de Jong joined Stellenbosch FC from Royal AM in January 2023 and during his stay in the Cape Winelands scored 19 goals and contributed 11 assists in 114 appearances.
