Spain has been crowned as a new FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 Champions for the first time after beating England by 1-0 in Sydney,Australia.

The La Rojas won that match with a solitary goal that was scored by their captain Olga Carmona.

Both teams reached the FIFA Women's World Cup finals for the first time in their football history.

The Lionesses were defeated by La Rojas after having a very splendid performance during the course of the entire tournament,in their last game which granted them a spot in the final they beat Australia by 3-1.

Spain's title was not achieved so easily as they had to fight so hard to reach their first World Cup final when crushed Sweden by 2-1 in a match that was difficult.

On Saturday,Sweden defeated the co-host Australia to take third place in the FIFA Women's World Cup.

The Adidas Golden Ball Award for the tournament was given to a Spanish player Aitana Bonmati.

The Adidas Golden Glove Award was given to a English player Mary Earps who also saved a penalty in the final and that cemented her name a place in a Golden Glove Hall of Fame.

The FIFA Best Young Player Award was given to a Spanish player Salma Paralluelo and this player has been instrumental to the success of her team.

At just 19,Salma Paralluelo has won it all as she won the Under-17 Women's World Cup,Under-20 Women's World Cup and now is FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 and she is the future for the La Rojas.
