The most notorious rapist and murderer Thabo Bester and his lover Dr. Nandipha Magudumana were brought back in the country from Tanzania in the wee hours of today(Thursday),both are languishing behind the bars.

These two lovebirds were deported from Tanzania after few days the South African government sent the delegation to the East African country to fetch them.

The Ministers of departments that responsible for the deportation of these criminals had thanks the government of Tanzania for helping the South Africa to deport these two criminals without hurdles.

The statement read, the Ministers responsible for Justice and Correctional Services and Police,Ronald Lamola and Bheki Cele would like to thank the government of Tanzania for its unequivocal co-operation in the matter which relates to the arrest and process of deportation of Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana.

The ministers promised to work tirelessly with other countries when it comes to deportation processes because that issue is still huge problem faced by Justice Department.

The statement continued, we will endeavour to emulate this level of co-operation with other countries in areas of mutual legal assistance and related matters.

The Department of Home Affairs dispatched a high level delegation to Tanzania on Monday,09 April 2023 and that envoy succeeded to bring back the fugitives to the country to face justice.

Thabo Bester has been readmitted into the Kgosi Mampuru Central Maximum correctional facility and his lover Dr Nandipha Magudumana is under arrest,pending her first court appearance.

During the press conference ,the SAPS National Commissioner General,Fannie Masemola told the media that Dr Nandipha Magudumana will be facing numerous charges when she appears in the Bloemfontein Magistrates' Court.

The re-arrest and deportation of Thabo Bester might motivates the South African government to bring back the Gupta brothers who are in Dubai,United Arabs Emirates and Shepherd Bushiri who is hiding in his country Malawi to come face the justice after escaping the country.
