Mamelodi Sundowns has won its eighth Premier Soccer League(PSL) title last night for the consecutive year after bruising Chippa United 0-3 away from home during a Betway Premiership clash at Buffalo City Stadium at 19:30.

Abafana Ba Style won the Betway Premiership title while is still has three games left to play before the season come to an end,and when they travelled to Gqeberha they were only seeking just one point to be announced as champions.

Masandawana's first goal was scored by Iqraam Rayners on the 11th minute,the second and third goal were scored by Arthur Sales on the 69th and 89th minutes,and those three goals were enough for the visitors to be confirmed as an inaugural Betway Premiership champions for the 2024/25 season.

Ka Bo Yellow has won its 15th league title in the Premier Soccer League(PSL) era,and over the years had been writing its own history in the South African football history.

After 90 minutes,Marcelo Allende was picked as the right candidate for the Man of the Match award followed his outstanding performance during that match.

From 24 May up to 1 June 2025,Sundowns will be fighting for the second star as they are going to face Egyptian club Pyramids in the CAF Champions League final,it will host the Egyptians in the first leg at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria and fly to Egypt to play for the second leg at 30 June Stadium.
