Democratic Alliance's Shadow Minister for Public Service and Administration Dr Leon Schreiber MP has confirmed yesterday that African National Congress(ANC) handed over the cadre deployment records to them as instructed by the court.

Schreiber said after more than three years of determined "lawfare" activism by the DA,we have today succeeded in our quest to force the ANC to hand over cadre deployment records dating back to 1 January 2023,when President Cyril Ramaphosa became chairman of the deployment committee that helped to facilitate state capture. This victory for transparency and the rule of law comes after the ANC was forced to bend the knee before the DA in court, where we won three successive battles, with cost orders, extending all the way to Constitutional Court.

Schreiber maintained that Democratic Alliance will now take its time to study the records to uncover any manipulation of the records was done by the ruling party before surrendering those records to them and he made it clear that if something in those records the DA will approach the court again,he promised to make those records in public for everyone to know the dirty of the ANC.

"The DA will now study the records to ascertain whether the ANC has complied with the court order in full, which directed it to hand over complete meeting minutes, email correspondence,Whatsapp conversations,CVs and all other relevant documentation dating back to January 2013.If the ANC has erased and manipulated parts of the information,or sought to otherwise undermine the Constitutional Court's order, the DA will launch further legal action to hold ANC leaders personally accountable.

As soon as we have processed the voluminous documentation, the DA will fulfill our longstanding undertaking to make public the ANC's dirty cadre secrets for every South Africans to see," Schreiber said.

He further emphasised that being in possession of the cadre deployment records is a landmark victory for the DA's journey to fight the ANC's ills which nearly destroyed the country and urged South Africans to help them to rescue the country through vote.

"Today's victory is yet another important landmark on the DA's journey towards abolishing cadre deployment corruption from face of South Africa.ANC cadre deployment laid the foundation for state capture, for systematic corruption, and for the service delivery collapse that caused loadshedding,water-shedding,and the accelerating failure of the state.

The DA calls on all South Africans who want to rescue our country from total state failure,to help the DA in our quest for a professional, skilled and independent public service that delivers for all,by registering to vote DA," Schreiber concluded.

ANC erased cadre deployment records

Yesterday, the African National Congress(ANC) released a statement whereby it confessed that the records which were demanded by the DA went missing and promised to handover the remaining records that only covers the period of 2018 to 2021.

But the ANC excuse was expected because it has been trying by all means to prevent the DA to access those records which contains their dirty secrets when it was appealing courts decisions for nearly four years.

"A number of these records for the period 2018-2021 were handed over to the Commission on State Capture(Zondo Commission) as far as back 2021,and were the subject of thorough scrutiny by the Commission, including in testimony by the President and other National Officials of the ANC.The ANC has nothing to hide.

Similarly, the ANC indicated openly to the Commission as far as back as 24 June 2021 that:'We have conducted a thorough search for minutes of the National Deployment Committee for the period December 2012 to December 2017.No minutes of the meetings of the National Deployment Committee for the relevant period could be found.'," said ANC statement
