Njabulo Blom rejoins Kaizer Chiefs on loan from St. Louis City

Kaizer Chiefs has welcomed back its former midfielder Njabulo Blom who rejoins Soweto giant from U.S club St Louis City FC on loan until June 2025.

Blom's U.S club St. Louis City FC has confirmed that has allowed him to join his former club which plays in the South African Premiership and Kaizer Chiefs has an option to purchase at the end of the loan.

"We wish Njabulo good luck during his loan in South Africa.

"He will have a great opportunity to get more minutes at a competitive level and help continue his professional growth.Kaizer Chiefs is one of the top clubs in Africa,"said Sporting Director of St. Louis City, Lutz Pfannenstiel.

During his stint in the U.S,Blom made 26 appearances and started 21 matches,and he scored a crucial for his club against Minnesota to help St. Louis City FC to win the Western Conference Regular Season title.

His latest goal he scored for St. Louis City was in June at Vancouver and in 2024 alone he made only 11 appearances.

The arrival of Blom might help Amakhosi to strengthen its midfield and he arrived in a right time before the new season start on 14 September.

Kaizer Chiefs also announced the signing of former Golden Arrows defender Bradley Cross and he signed a four-year deal with the Glamour Boys.

Except Blom and Cross,Glamour Boys managed to secure signatures of players such as Fiacre Ntwari,Bongani Sam,Rushwin Dortley,Inacio Miguel and Gaston Sirino to reinforce its squad for the newly-launched Betway Premiership league.
