Orlando Pirates has announced the signing of an attacking midfielder Lesedi Kapinga ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract and recently he was representing Bafana Bafana in the COSAFA Cup.

The player is seems excited to join the Soweto giants and is ready to join his teammates.

"I am pleased to join the Club,"said Kapinga."I'm not much of a talker because talk is cheap.All I'm focused on is to start training and working my way back to playing the game I love."

Kapinga is very skillfully player with a flair and creativity,few seasons ago he played for Black Leopards and Mamelodi Sundowns.

In his professional career as a footballer,he played 91 matches and scored 11 goals plus 15 assists.

This week,he is expected to meet with his teammates and this season he will wear jersey number 21.

On the 29 July 2023,the Buccaneers would play its last friendly match before the season commenced,and then on 5 August 2023,it will travel to Cape Town to Stellensbosch FC in an opening of the 2023/24 season.

During the pre-season,Orlando Pirates Head Coach,Jose Riveiro travelled with his team to his homeland Spain where his players played friendly matches with the likes Maccabi Tel Avi,Union Deportiva Las Palmas,Independiete Del Valle.
