South African football giant Orlando Pirates has advanced to the next round of the CAF Champions League after crushing Disciples from Madagascar 4-0 on Friday evening at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
Buccaneers has taught the visitors an unforgettable lesson to show them that what happened in Madagascar few days ago was just lucky for the home team as that match ended 0-0 in the first leg.
The second leg match against these two clubs started in a swift pace whereby the home team was pushing forward in a full force in attempts to crack the visitors defence.
Buccaneers took the lead in the first eight minutes the game started after the Disciples' defender committed a huge mistake when scored an own-goal while was trying to diffuse a dangerous move by Pirates' players.
The host kept on pushing forward and did not remove the foot on the pedal and that led them to score the second goal on the 23rd minute with the foot of Relebohile Mofokeng.
The third goal for the Bucs was scored by the one and only Patrick Maswanganyi on the 28th minute and his kick was very thunderous and it was impossible for the goalkeeper to block it.
The Buccaneers went on half-time leading by 3-0 and that was a huge setback for visitors because they failed even to score a single goal on their home turf, and it was clear that their road has came to end in that competition before the resumption of the second 45 minutes.
During the second 45 minutes, the visitors came back from the change rooms with a different attitude and their performance had improved massively compared to the first-half.
The Bucs struggled a lot in the second-half and their attempts to score a fourth goal were always thwarted by the Disciples defence which was very organised in that half.
However, the home team managed to extend the scoresheet to 4-0 on the 90+ minutes and that goal was scored Kimvuidi in a counterattack, and the Buccaneers won 4-0 on aggregate score.
For the entire 90 minutes, the Buccaneers dominated the ball possession with 76% while made 17 goal attempts and 5 on target.
After a last night victory, the Orlando Pirates does not know yet which club they will encounter in the stage of the competition between Africa Stars of Namibia and Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.
